Sanctuary for Sheep and Goats
At Happy Baa Baa Land, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a loving home for sheep and goats in need. Founded in January 2023, our sanctuary was born out of a desire to protect these gentle animals from harm and raise awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship and reducing animal suffering.
We are committed to 100% no-kill policy. We believe that every life is precious, and we are committed to providing the best possible care and treatment for our animal residents, regardless of their condition. Through veterinary care, nutrition, and a nurturing environment, we strive to help even the most vulnerable animals regain their health and thrive.
Our Story & Mission
In late 2021, our founders learned that a flock of 93 sheep and goats was headed to a slaughterhouse. Compelled by compassion, they sprang into action to rescue the animals and bring them to safety. Though they faced significant challenges with limited resources and manpower, their dedication to the cause never wavered. With the help of generous supporters who share their passion for animal welfare, Happy Baa Baa Land was established as a non-profit sanctuary with under BWCO, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
At the heart of our philosophy is a deep reverence for all life and a belief in the interconnectedness of all living beings. We strive to create an environment where our animal residents can thrive, free from the threat of harm or exploitation. Through our work, we hope to inspire others to adopt a more compassionate and eco-friendly lifestyle, one that honors the natural world and all its inhabitants.

We invite you to visit our sanctuary and experience the joy and wonder of these gentle creatures firsthand.
While we would love to offer these visits for free, due to resource constraints, we ask for a $10 per person contribution. This admission fee helps us maintain the high level of care and support our animals need.
During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the animals, their stories, and the importance of animal welfare and environmental conservation. It's an educational and fun experience for all ages, and your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the sheep and goats in our care.
